HR Consultant

My name is Shantidas Annen, and I was born in 1978 in Chennai (Madras) in India. I arrived in Switzerland a few months after my birth. I undertook the whole of my educational curriculum in Switzerland. After having graduated from the ‘Ecole Supérieur de Commerce de Genève’ (Graduate School of Business), I took up diverse roles within the finance department of several large companies. This field has taught me rigor as well as precision which are two driven words in a career.
In 2008, I decided to refocus my career toward Human Resources because I was extremely keen on exploring this field which is surprising as well as attractive on a daily basis and which always features a whole host of surprises that have enabled me to progress over the years. I learnt the trade of recruitment in a firm which is an expert on the matter, and especially with individuals who count a lot for me.
In 2009, I started working in internal operations and I had the opportunity to discover the world of Human Resources on the inside with all the complexity that it entails. I took up diverse roles within several activity sectors which are quite different from each other in terms of representing Human Resources. My last position as an HR Manager in 2012 has clearly made me acknowledge the fact that this field will never stop teaching you and will always surprise you about the relationships between people.
On a personal level, I am married, father of a boy and live in La Côte (Switzerland). I regularly practice tennis at the amateur level but also enjoy watching all sorts of sports. I relish travelling around the globe and encounter populations which make me personally grow in my field.
